What is the "re" thing all about?

As you all know, we changed our brand to purescue a month ago.  And now...we're really digging the "re" thing.   Why? For one, we really like it visually.  Second, it joins the all important pure + rescue.  And..lastly, "re" also means a few things that make sense for an active brand like ours - regarding, about, concerning...   re: civil rights re: poverty re: save the trees   You get the idea :)  We added the "re" mark to the back of most of our tees, just below the collar.   As always, thanks for all the support.  Keep the ideas and feedback coming... Funds distributed to causes (Oct - Dec 2016)

Thanks to all the folks who bought purescue tees this year.  We donated almost $2k to important causes since our launch in October.  This is just a start...much much more to come from purescue in 2017.  It's time to expand beyond T-shirts, ratchet up the brand awareness and drive sales. Here's the breakdown in how funds were distributed over the last few months: $1,000 to Planned Parenthood $200 to Smithsonian $175 to ASPCA $138 to Badass Animal Rescue Shelter $60 to NPR $54 to Mazon $50 to ACLU $50 to Camfed (recommended by Half the Sky Movement) $25 to PBS Thanks again and have a happy and healthy holiday and new year. what will you rescue today?

What is purescue?

 purescue, n. pure rescue, something/someone that needs help/home/nurturing  One month into this thing and we're changing our name....just a bit. Pure Rescue Design is now purescue.   Why the change? Well, for one thing the URL is shorter by 8 characters. was taken (squatter) so, once again, creative constraint leads to innovation (sorta). Just share the "re" and go with purescue. Hopefully, everyone will see "Pure Rescue" in purescue and not "P.U. Rescue" or "Pure Scue." Well, no matter, the focus is still the same... We're a brand. A brand that wants to do good. We believe that it’s more important than ever before to step outside our bubbles, listen, learn and make change (and, oh btw, it’s ok to poke fun at ourselves...
